Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 23, 2026

Welcome to spinwheelhub.net. We respect your privacy and want you to understand exactly what happens when you use our Spin the Wheel tools on our website.

The short version

Your wheel data stays in your own browser. We do not have a database, user accounts, or a server that stores your wheel entries, and spinning the wheel itself does not send your entries or results over the internet.

There are a few situations where your browser does contact other services. For example, opening the Share panel to create a QR code sends your wheel title and entry names to the QR code service we use. Google Fonts and Google Analytics also receive requests from your browser.

We do not sell personal information, and you do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the Spin the Wheel tool.

1. What We Store in Your Browser

spinwheelhub.net uses your browser’s local storage to save certain information on your device.

This allows the website to remember your wheels and preferences without requiring an account or sending the information to our servers.

The following local storage keys may be used:

  • ws_saved — saved wheels, including entry labels, weights, colours, and hidden status
  • ws_wheel — the current wheel state
  • ws_win — the most recent winner, used by Streamer Mode to display the winner on a second screen
  • ws_lang — your language selection
  • ws_theme — your light or dark theme preference
  • ws_ctl — remote control panel state

This information is stored on your own device in your browser.

We do not receive this local storage data. We cannot read it remotely, and we cannot recover it for you if you clear your browser storage, remove the data, or otherwise lose it.

If you want to remove this information, you can clear your browser’s site data or local storage for spinwheelhub.net.

2. When Data Leaves Your Browser

Most of the Spin the Wheel tool works entirely in your browser.

A normal spin does not send your wheel entries, spin results, or wheel contents to our servers or another service.

However, some features make requests to third-party services.

QR Code Generation

When you open the Share panel and generate a QR code, the website creates a share link containing the wheel title and entry names.

That link is sent as a query parameter to api.qrserver.com, a third-party QR code service. The service then returns the QR code image to your browser.

This means that when you use the QR code feature, your wheel title and every entry name in that wheel are transmitted to api.qrserver.com.

This does not happen during a normal spin.

It also does not happen simply because you save a wheel. The Save feature stores the wheel locally in your browser.

If your wheel contains names or other information that you do not want sent to a third party, do not use the QR code feature for that wheel.

Random Images

If you choose the feature that loads a random background image or centre image, your browser requests the image from picsum.photos.

That service can receive information associated with the request, including your IP address.

This only happens when you use the random image feature.

Social Sharing

The Share panel also includes buttons for WhatsApp, X (Twitter), and Facebook.

If you click one of these buttons, your browser opens the selected platform with the share link attached.

Once you leave spinwheelhub.net or interact with one of these platforms, that platform’s own privacy policy and data practices apply.

3. No Backend and No Spin Tracking

spinwheelhub.net does not use a backend to store or process your wheel data.

The tool does not use fetch(), XMLHttpRequest, or sendBeacon calls to send wheel data to us.

We do not log:

  • Your spins
  • Your spin results
  • Your wheel entries
  • Your wheel contents

Spins themselves involve zero network activity.

The wheel runs in your browser.

4. No Accounts or Required Personal Information

You do not need to create an account or sign up to use the Spin the Wheel tool.

We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information to use the wheel.

We may receive personal information if you voluntarily contact us, such as when you send us an email. We use information you provide for the purpose of responding to your message or request.

5. Google Fonts

spinwheelhub.net loads its typefaces from Google Fonts at fonts.googleapis.com.

When your browser loads these fonts, it contacts Google’s servers. As part of that request, Google can receive your IP address and other information normally included in a web request.

Google’s handling of this information is governed by Google’s own privacy practices.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use spinwheelhub.net.

Google Analytics can collect information about website visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser information, and other usage information.

This helps us understand how people use the website and improve the tool.

Google processes Analytics data according to its own policies and terms.

You can also use your browser’s privacy settings and available Google controls to manage certain types of tracking.

7. Cookies

spinwheelhub.net may use cookies or similar technologies through services such as Google Analytics.

Cookies are small files that websites can store in your browser.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also configure your browser to block certain cookies.

Blocking cookies may affect some website functionality or the way certain services work.

The wheel’s saved wheels and preferences described in this Privacy Policy are stored in local storage, not in a database on our server.

8. Children’s Privacy

spinwheelhub.net is a general-purpose tool that can be used by people of different ages, including students, teachers, streamers, families, and other users.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The wheel itself does not require an account or personal information.

Because users can enter their own content into the wheel, we recommend that parents, teachers, and other adults help children avoid entering sensitive personal information into wheel entries.

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us using the email address below.

9. Your Privacy Rights Under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, you may have rights over your personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, these rights can include:

  • The right to know whether we process your personal information.
  • The right to request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information.
  • The right to request restriction of certain processing.
  • The right to object to certain processing.
  • The right to request data portability where applicable.
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because most wheel information is stored only in your own browser, we generally do not have access to that information and cannot retrieve it from our systems.

Third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Fonts, api.qrserver.com, picsum.photos, WhatsApp, X, and Facebook may process information independently of us. Their own policies and legal obligations apply to that processing.

If you have a privacy request concerning information that we may hold, contact us at theblokt@gmail.com.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Your Privacy Rights Under U.S. State Privacy Laws

Depending on where you live, U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), may give you certain rights regarding personal information.

Depending on the law that applies to you, these rights may include:

  • The right to know what personal information is collected or processed.
  • The right to request access to personal information.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information.
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information, where applicable.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We do not sell personal information.

We also do not operate a user database containing your wheel entries. Wheel entries and saved wheels are stored locally in your browser.

If you want to make a privacy request, contact us at theblokt@gmail.com. We may need enough information to understand and respond to your request.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Some features of spinwheelhub.net use third-party services, including:

  • Google Fonts for website fonts
  • Google Analytics for website analytics
  • api.qrserver.com for QR code generation
  • picsum.photos for random images
  • WhatsApp, X (Twitter), and Facebook when you choose to share content through their buttons

We may also link to other third-party websites.

We do not control the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites and services.

When you use a third-party service or follow an external link, that service’s own privacy policy applies to information it collects.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to keep spinwheelhub.net secure.

One important part of the design is that wheel data is stored locally in your browser rather than in a server-side database.

However, no website, browser, device, or internet connection can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should avoid entering passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into wheel entries.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, its features, or the services we use change.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page from time to time so you understand how spinwheelhub.net handles information.
